Suggested fabrics:
Heavy and medium weight knits with a low stretch percentage such as sweatshirt. Such fabrics will hold the collar and the sleeve in shape.
Knit fabrics such as French terry and Ponte Roma have more drape and the collar will have a more slouchy look. For fabrics with more drape you may consider sizing down.
Fabric requirements:
Height Group 1: 150 cm (58″) wide fabric: 1.3 - 1.5 m (1.5 - 1.7 yd).
Height Group 2: 150 cm (58″) wide fabric: 1.5 - 1.6 m (1.7 - 1.8 yd).
Sizing: UK 6 – 22 (approx. UK 6/8 – 18/20, based on our ). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
This pattern is drafted to fit a B cup size and has two height options:
Height Group 1: 160 cm (5'3")
Height Group 2: 170 cm (5'7")
Select the closest height to your body. If you are in the middle, choose the taller. Both groups have the same width around the body – the only difference is in the length. If you are outside these height groups, you may need to alter the pattern length.
Notions: Small amount of lightweight interfacing (25 cm/0.25 yd); clear elastic, 5 - 7 mm (1/4") wide (optional); ball point needle; hand sewing needle.
PDF pattern includes: Step-by-step instructions; A4 print-at-home pattern (19 pages for Group 1, 19 pages for Group 2); US letter print-at-home pattern (21 pages for Group 1, 22 pages for Group 2); A0 copy shop pattern (1 sheet for Group 1, 1 sheet for Group 2).
